Wilma Harris

West Fork, Indiana - Wilma L. Harris, 90, of West Fork and formerly of Magnet, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Todd Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation in Leavenworth. She was born in Bloomington, Illinois, on June 21, 1924. Her parents were the late William and Martha (Yount) Young. Also preceding her in death were her sons, Charles William "Jackie" Harris and James Michael Harris and brothers, Wayne, William Gene and Donald Young. Wilma was a 1942 graduate of Cannelton High School and is survived by her daughters, Lynda Terry and Sandra Zeller of West Fork and Loretta Billman of Allegan, Michigan; sons, Larry Gene Harris of Gentryville and Darrel Harris of Jasper; a sister, Mavis Lee Farmer, Bristol, Connecticut; a brother, George Young of Evansville and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, will be handling the arrangements, where the family has requested no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made to Todd Dickey Nursing Home Activity Fund where they may accept cash donations to benefit activities for the residents.
