Tell City, Indiana - Willma Pekinpaugh, 91, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Tell City on August 4, 1918. Her parents were the late Albert and Rhoda (Blake) Pekinpaugh. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, William, her twin in infancy, and Shirley Pekinpaugh. A 1936 graduate of Cannelton High School, Willma was a registered nurse for over 38 years at Hinsdale (Illinois) Hospital, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Tell City Seventh Day Adventist Church and Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Willma enjoyed her volunteer work at the hospital and her church. Surviving is her brother, Wayne Pekinpaugh, Tell City and nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, Pastor Justin Childers officiating, with burial in Deer Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made Perry County Memorial Hospital, Tell City Seventh Day Adventist Church or Deer Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
