William Robson

Cannelton, Indiana -

William T. "Bill" Robson, 82, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2023, at Brickyard Health Care -Lincoln Hills.

He was born in Perry County on September 8, 1940. His parents, Thomas Robson and the former Marie Roberts, brothers, Eddie "Pondo" and Jim and sisters, Frieda Ellen, Louise, Rosemary and Joan preceded him in death.

Bill had owned and operated the former H & C Tavern and later retired from Swiss Plywood in Tell City.

Bill was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Patsy Cline. Many Cannelton residents will fondly remember him walking his dog, Blackie, all over town.

Surviving him are several nieces and nephews, including Janie Enlow (Mike), of English who helped care for him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 7, 2023, at St. Michael Catholic Church with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM on Friday at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel.
