Derby, Indiana - William G. ""Billy"" Mogan, passed on Saturday, June 9 2012, surrounded by loved ones, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born, raised and cherished living on his family farm in Derby. Billy was united in marriage on April 4, 1964, to Marilyn Biever at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City. A lifetime farmer, Billy and his wife, Marilyn, owned and operated the Derby General Store, where they made lasting memories serving their friends and neighbors for over 24 years. Billy enjoyed spending time with his family, farming, raising livestock, coon hunting and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn; daughters Kelly George (Scott), Melody Hedinger (Tim), Deana Hubert (Scott); sons, Adam, and Tony Mogan (Mandi), all of Perry County; grandchildren, Brooke and Clint George, Megan, Colten, Alexa Hedinger, Madeline, Levi and Emma Hubert, Clayton, Nick, Will and Joe Mogan; sister, Charlene ""Doody"" (Mogan) Edwards; brothers, Charlie Mogan, Travis and Darrell Ramsey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Mogan and June and Dwight Ramsey; grandson, Dalton Anthony Mogan; sister, Starr Lee (Mogan) Windell and a brother, John Mike Mogan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Derby. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM on Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street, Tell City. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery, Derby or American Cancer Society.
