William Bennett

Cannelton, Indiana William L. "Bill" Bennett, 66, passed away on February 19, 2020. He was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 3, 1953, son of the late William S. and Alice K. (Livers) Bennett. Bill was a 1971 graduate of Cannelton High School and graduated from University of Evansville. He had been a high school teacher and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Cannelton. Bill enjoyed U of E and I.U. sports and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He is survived by his children, Geoff, Jake and Mary Kate; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Jane, Marsha, Kathy, Ginger, Debbie, Angela, Steve and Mikki; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Bobbie. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM CST on Friday, February 21, 2020, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to William and Alice Bennett Scholarship Fund c/o Old National Bank.
