Derby, Indiana Willa Dean Ramsbottom, 77, of Evansville, formerly of Derby, Indiana passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 at Deaconess Gateway surrounded by her family. Willa was born in Hamilton, MO on May 8, 1934 daughter of the late Ora and Felva (Whitcomb) McClain. On July 1, 1955 she was united in marriage to Robert Ramsbottom of Gallatin, MO. She and Robert moved to Perry County, IN in 1967 and settled in Derby. They resided there until 2010 when they moved to Evansville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Gene, Bill, Kenny and Jack McClain and sister Eloise Crowley. Willa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family, and a dear friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed volunteering her time to many organizations and especially loved her work with Prison Ministry at Branchville Correctional Facility. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tell City and attended Bluegrass United Methodist Church in Evansville. She loved to watch her grandchildren's sports and dance activities and Perry Central athletics. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bob Ramsbottom, Evansville; sons, Danny Combs of Waterville, Minnesota and Robert Ramsbottom (Nancy) of Indianapolis; daughters Micki Craddock and Gina Muller (Aaron) of Evansville; grandchildren Crystal Yeutter, Leah Perry, Shelby Craddock, Jacob Muller and Christina Muller; great grandchildren Deven, Kayla, Michael and Emma. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 15, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, located at Tenth and Mozart in Tell City, with burial in Derby Cemetery. Rev. Andy Payton and Rev. Doug Heiman will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 Twelfth Street, Tell City, and from 9:00 until 10:00 AM Thursday at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry Central After School Programs c/o Perry County Community Foundation, 817 12th St., Tell City, IN 47586.
