Wayne Brown

Tell City, Indiana - Wayne G. Brown, 80, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2012, at Oakwood Rehab. He was born in Perry County on March 18, 1932. His parents were the late Claude and Hettie (Malone) Brown. Also preceding him in death were his sisters, Ruth and Helen, in infancy, Hazel Amos, Bolma Wolf, Opal Collignon and Effie Rhodes and brothers, Elmer, Estel and Drolus Brown. Wayne owned and operated Brownie's Auto Sales and was a member of Perry County Coon Club and Perry County Squirrel Club. He enjoyed coon hunting and horses. Surviving are his daughters, Betsy Brown, Pam Litherland, Jackie Hagedorn, Jeannie Stowe, Robin Thomas and Tracie Brown; son, Scott Brown; sisters, Judy Cronin and Roma Phelps; sixteen grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial Lilly Dale Cemetery. Pastor Eddie Olberding will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday and from 10:00 AM until service time on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Lilly Dale Cemetery and Oakwood Activity Fund.
