Wanda Wittmer

Tell City, Indiana Wanda Lucille Wittmer, 94, passed away on April 1, 2020. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on February 8, 1926 to the late John C. and Elizabeth (Hughes) Bowling. Also preceding her in death was her first husband, Cova Collins and her second husband, William "Billy Frank" Wittmer; a son, James C. "J.C." Collins; sisters, Louise Duff and Alma Kessler and brothers, Charles, Don and Wilbur "Cotton" Bowling. Lucille retired from B-Bar-B, and had worked as a waitress at Lone Star, both formerly in New Albany. Spending time with her family was everything to Lucille, as she was especially fond of her great grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Ron Collins (Linda), Olympia, WA, Cathy Riddle (Carrol), Oriole and Debbie Landers (Herbie), Magnet; a sister, Iva Deem, Jeffersonville; grandchildren, Nick Collins, Andrew, Alexandra and Daniel Collins, Amanda Goff, David and Lee Riddle; ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and another on the way. Due to COVID-19 mandates, funeral services will be private with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
