Tell City, Indiana Vivian O. (Poole) Roberts, 91, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born in Owensboro, KY on June 18, 1925, daughter of the late Thomas Lee and Amy Lee (Jarvis) Poole. Also preceding her in death are her husband, McKinley "Mac" Roberts in 2015, great-grandson, Bryce Fenwick, sisters, Helen Knepper and Florence Harding and brothers, Warren, Raymond Lee and Lloyd Poole. Vivian and her husband, Mac, owned and operated Roberts Grocery, near German Ridge. She was a member of Rome United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, crocheting, cross stitch and playing euchre. Surviving are her children, Tammy Sprinkle (Wayne), Tell City, Thurman R. Roberts, Sr. (Joyce), Tell City and Malcolm "Trub" Roberts (Barbara), Hawesville; a sister, Rachel Hester (Emmanuel), Evansville; a brother, Don Poole, Hudson (Norma), FL; half-brothers, Steve Poole (Mary), Gatchel and Terry Poole (Lana), Tell City; 7 grandchildren, Faith Snyder (Joe), Thurman "Robie" Roberts, Jr. (Lisa Humbert), Tom Roberts (Deanne), Chad Roberts (Vicky), Amy Fenwick (Jason), Sarah Rhodes (Donnie) and Leanne Sprinkle (Joe Hart); 11 great-grandchildren, Heather Wathen, Lindsay Tempel, Kristi Lindsey, Rachel Snyder, Jared Roberts, Hannah and Kaitlyn Rhodes, Sarah and Brennan Fenwick and Owen and Lily Hart; 7 great-great grandsons Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Bolin Cemetery. Rev. Ann Skiba will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Sunday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Bolin Cemetery.
