Virginia Groves

Tell City, Indiana Virginia L. Groves, 83, of Livingston, New Jersey, formerly of Tell City and Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Saturday October 30, 2004 at Inglemoor Care Center. Virginia was born on February 21, 1921 in Cannelton, Indiana the daughter of the late William C. and Dorathea (Hermann) Lehman. She was a graduate of Cannelton High School and was a former member of Evangelical United Church of Christ in Tell City and Zion United Church of Christ in Owensboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sidney K. Groves in 1991, and a brother William Lehman in 1937. Virginia is survived by one daughter, Dr. Anne G. Nepo of Glen Ridge, New Jersey and a sister, Dorathea Ferrara of Bethesda, Maryland. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 11:00 AM EST at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM EST until service time at Huber Funeral Home located at 1139 12th Street Tell City, Indiana. Rev. Lee Brown will officiate.
