Victor Young

Millstone, Indiana Victor G.Young, 81, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at The Timbers of Jasper. He was born April 1, 1930 in Hancock County son of the late Claude and Clara (Nix) Young. Also preceding him death were wives Della (McCleskey) Young and Sarah (Elliott) Young, sons, David and Christopher Young, brothers, Henry and Clay Young and sisters, Mildred Hatfield and a sister in infancy. Vic retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years. He enjoyed gardening and cutting wood. He is survived by sons, Victor ""Glenn"" Young, Jr., Jasper, Leonard Young, Evansville; daughter, Charlotte Young, Texas; step-daughter, Michelle ""Shelly"" Deom, Evansville; brothers, Shelby and Dick Young; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM CST Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel with burial in Millstone Cemetery where there will be military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time.
