Valerie Franchville

Tell City, Indiana - Valerie L. Franchville, 42, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. A native of Perry County, she was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, on April 1, 1972. Valerie was involved in many sports and activities during high school, including band, basketball, softball and tennis. She graduated from Tell City High School in 1990. Valerie was the family chef, especially enjoying grilling out. She brought joy to anyone she met and will be remembered as a loving mother and friend to many. She was employed at Evansville Surgical Associates. Surviving her is the joy of her life, her son, Landon; her mother, George Ann Franchville; her father, Clarence Franchville; her companion, Eva Hubert; grandmothers, Helen Hess and Dorothy Franchville and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Her grandfathers, James "Pete" Hess and Cosmos Franchville and a cousin, Donnie Smith, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at Huber Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Landon Franchville Trust in care of Fifth Third Bank.
