Tony Wilson

Cannelton, Indiana - Tony G. Wilson, 86, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at Golden Living Center-Lincoln Hills. He was born March 9, 1928 in Tobinsport, son of the late Milton and Edyth (Dowell) Wilson. Also preceding him in death was his wife Norma Jean (Walls) Wilson; a son, Ralph Wilson; sisters, Autry Wilson and Patsy Wilson and a grandson, Elton Jon Wilson. Tony worked as a carpenter for over 50 years and had worked for the U.S. Forestry Service. He enjoyed bluegrass festivals, watching western movies, collecting guns and reading. He is survived by his daughters; Judy James (Donald), and Angela Wilson (Marvin Pierrard), both of Cannelton; a son, Tim Wilson (Cheryl), Tobinsport; nine grandchildren, Kim Bolin, Tony James, Scott James, Eric Wilson, Duane Wilson, Mike Wilson, Annette Genet, Michelle Baldi and Rachel Pierrard. Tony has several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Simons Cemetery in Tobinsport. Rev. Jesse R. Bolin will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
