Timmie A. Kelly, 87, passed away February 25, 2021. He was born September 11, 1933, in Perry County, son of the late John Michael and Celine (Goffinet) Kelly. Timmie was a carpenter most of his life and had worked for Kelly Home Builders and Overhead Door, both family businesses, formerly located in Florida. A United States Army veteran, he loved gardening and animals, especially his cats. He fed any animal in his yard, even laying out food in the woods so that all would have something to eat. Timmie is survived by sisters; Lois Wentworth (Marty), Tallahassee, Florida, Christina Marcilliat, Atlanta, Georgia, Eva Guillaume (Bill), Oriole, Rosie Harbaville, Tell City, Catherine Frakes, Branchville, Becky Berg (Dave), Ferdinand and Betty Goffinet (Dan), Tell City; brothers, Lawrence Kelly (Karen), Tell City, James Kelly (Debbie) and Donald Kelly (Mary), Leopold. Timmie has 64 nieces and nephews and 200 plus great nieces and nephews. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Jerome and Irvin Kelly. Funeral services will be private at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in St. Augustine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made Perry County Humane Society. A mask needs to be worn at the funeral home and social distancing practiced.
