Thomas Holmes

Tell City, Indiana Thomas E. Holmes, 64, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born June 18, 1948 in Hancock County son of the late Thomas Holmes, Sr. and Mabel (Oldham) Holmes. Also preceding him in death was his wife Martha (Marcum) Holmes, brothers, James, Charles, and Marvin Holmes, sisters, Fern Poehlein, Mary Ann Hartmier, sister in fancy, Margaret Alice Holmes and grandson, Billy Pryor. He had worked at Dubois Wood Products, and enjoyed fishing and camping. Tommy is survived by daughters; Theresa James, Jasper and Laura Pryor, Huntingburg; sons, Daniel and Jeff Holmes, both of Huntingburg; sisters, Shirley Kempton, Indianapolis and Jennifer Poehlein, Huntingburg; brother, Avery Holmes, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 until 10:00 AM Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
