Terry Thomas

Cannelton, Indiana Terry Thomas, 69, passed away June 12, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Terry was born in Cannelton, Indiana, on August 25, 1947 to the late Oliver Thomas and Verna Lee (Bolin) Thomas Renfro. Two brothers, Billy and Ronnie Thomas, also precede him in death. Terry was united in marriage at Chestnut Grove Church on October 2, 1965 to the former Rose Kellems, who survives. He retired in 2012 from Meggitt, Inc., where he worked in industrial maintenance. Terry was Past President of Lincoln Trail Cruisers Car Club. He had a love for vehicles, restoring cars and attending car shows and cruise in's. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rose Thomas, Cannelton; his children, Mark Thomas,his wife Laura and Terri Ann Hudson, all of Tell City; three grandchildren, Amber Thomas (Trent Wheatley), Traci Hudson and Jagger Hudson (Tori Nash); two great-grandchildren, Parker Casallas and Ryder Hudson; sisters, Vicky Best, Huntingburg, Linda Reed (Russell), Cannelton, Salome Lamarche, Boonville; brothers, Gary Thomas, Tobinsport, Johnny Thomas (Jennie), Tell City and Danny Thomas, Cannelton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Rev. Scott Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM and Thursday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
