Susan Sprinkle Wrye, 88, formerly of Tell City, passed away on July 24, 2024, in Lebanon, Tennessee, where she lived.

She was born in Tell City, Indiana on July 14, 1936, daughter of the late Ivan and Edith (Myers) Sprinkle.

Susan loved playing golf, piano, bridge and dancing, but she especially loved her family.

Surviving are her children, Mike Wrye (Kathy), Spring Hill, TN, Laurie Sullivan (Michael), Nashville, TN, Jeff Wrye (Sandi), Tell City, IN and Karyn Parks (Jim), Mt. Juliet, TN; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Don Wrye.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM CDT on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM CDT until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
