Sue James

Tell City, Indiana Sue A. James, 72, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Owensboro Medical Health Systems. She was born October 20, 1936 in Kirk, Kentucky daughter of the late Richard and Martine (Embry) Bishop. Also preceding her in death was two sisters, Margaret Jarrett and Pauline Hartley and a brother in infancy George Bishop. She married Charles F. James at St. John's United Church of Christ in Cannelton on September 15, 1951. Sue had worked at United Wood Products, Schwab Safe and Beverly Healthcare. She enjoyed eating at restaurants, working crossword puzzles and reading. She is survived by: Husband of 57 years, Charles F. James, Tell City, Indiana Son, Kenny James, Tell City, Indiana Sister, Nellie Kline, Tell City, Indiana Brother, Jimmy Bishop, Tell City, Indiana Two grandchildren, Kenneth W. James II and John R. James Two Step Grandchildren, Terry Burden and Rhonda Horne Nine Step Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor Brian Adkins will officiate. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 until 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time.
