Sue Anderson

Sue Anderson, 78, passed away suddenly on July 22, 2020, doing what she loved, spending time at home caring for her animals. She was born in Rome on June 10, 1942, daughter of the late Casper P. and Minnie (Collins) Anderson. A 1960 graduate of Cannelton High School, she continued her education at Purdue University receiving her Master's Degree in Animal Science. She left briefly, living in Montana, before returning home. She worked as a caregiver for the elderly but will be most fondly remembered for her love and devotion to her many animals, especially horses and dogs. She had been active in assisting any animal organization in Perry County that she could, especially Perry County Animal Shelter. Surviving is a brother, Garry Anderson (Eike), Laguna Niguel, California and a sister, Donna Ehret, Rome. Sue always expressed that she wanted private services. Huber Funeral Home is assisting her family with those arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Humane Society.
