Stacy Hempfling

Tell City, Indiana Stacy Lynn Hempfling, 58, passed away September 10, 2017 at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on October 8, 1958 to the late Roman and Agnes (Mattingly) Mullis. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Gay Mullis. Stacy was a 1976 graduate of Tell City High School. She enjoyed shopping and going to yard sales. Stacy loved to spend time with her family and friends, being with her grandchildren and her dogs, Thunder and Jagger. Surviving are her husband, Albert Hempfling, Tell City; daughters, Angie Braunecker (P.J.), Tell City, Kari Aders, Tell City, Heather Sandage (Scott), Cannelton and Brittany Gillean, Tell City; brother, Terry Mullis (Margaret "Peggy"), Branchville; grandchildren, Morgan Simpson, Lacey and Autumn Kuster, Lindsey Phillips, Cody and Kylie Aders, Taylor Gillean, Chloe, Landon and Spencer Sandage, Gracee Stephens, Riley Hughes and Emerson Hartz; one great grandchild, Lillian Walker. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 PM and Thursday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Heart to Heart Hospice.
