Tell City, Indiana Stacie L. (Litherland) Ferraro, 37, peacefully passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at her home, with her family, after a battle with liver cancer. She was born in Tell City, IN on September 30, 1979. Stacie was a 1998 graduate of Tell City High School and married her high school sweetheart, Tony, on May 4, 2002. Together, they finalized the adoption of their children, Grace and Chase, in November 2015. Stacie was employed with the Perry County Prosecutor's Office. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and shopping trips with her kids. While diagnosed with cancer this summer, she remained focused on her family and in her will to fight her illness. She continued to fight until her final days. Stacie is survived by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Ferraro of Tell City; her beautiful children, Grace and Chase; her parents Sharon and Leon Henson of Merritt Island, FL, and Dale and Cheryl Litherland of Brooks, KY; brothers Jacob Litherland of Brooks, KY, Isaac Turner of Cocoa Beach, FL and Eddie Henson of Cannelton; a sister, Sheena Henson-Dowland of Tell City; grandparents, Robert and Clara Litherland, Shirley Sarnowski, all of Tell City: her extended Ferraro family, Don and Dee Ferraro, Ellie Davin, all of Winchester, VA, Tia Ferraro-Smith of Thompson Station, TN; nieces and nephews, Briley and Brynna Smith, Shylee Marie Stinnet, Jaelynn Henson, Hunter Dean Young and Liam Dowland. Proceeding her in death is her daughter, Ella Hope Ferraro; grandfather, Albert (Sonny) Sarnowski; and great-grandmother, Lucille M Swiniuch. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Jerry Daniels will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-7:00 PM and Monday 12:30-2:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the March of Dimes, in memory of their daughter, Ella Hope Ferraro, in support of premature birth or to Stacie's medical fund at https://www.gofundme.com/stacieferraro/. The family would like to thank friends, co-workers and colleagues who have shown such amazing gratitude, love and support over the past weeks and months.
