Sondra Vanconia

Tell City, Indiana Sondra K. VanConia, 72, passed away on April 15, 2020. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on June 8, 1947, daughter of the late Maurice W. and Violet (Bland) Reed. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Ronald L. "Ronnie" VanConia. Sondra served as the Perry County Assessor for several years and later worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Troy. She was a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church, Cannelton, The Red Hat Society and Mu Gamma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. Sondra was an avid collector of many things, including Coca-Cola and Barbie. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. Surviving is her son, Darren VanConia and wife, Laurie, Evanston and two grandchildren, Remington and Macie Parks. Due to current mandates with Covid-19, services will be private with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor David Humphreys will officiate.
