Tell City, Indiana - Ed Critcheloe, 77, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City. He was born in Glen Dean, Kentucky, on April 5, 1932. His parents were the late Sidney J. and Elsie (Berry) Critcheloe. Also preceding him in death were his sisters, Betty Gonzales, Jean Marsh and Anita Coon. Ed married the former Brenda Grass. She passed away on September 22, 2002. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he retired as a mechanic from the City of Tell City and had been employed at Mulzer Crushed Stone as a security guard. Ed was a life member of American Legion Post #213 and enjoyed music and mud running. Surviving: Daughter - Sharon Ann Critcheloe, Dallas, Texas Step Daughter - Joyce Ward, Tell City Brother - J.T. Critcheloe, Owensboro, Kentucky Nephew who cared for him - Eddie Critcheloe, Tobinsport, Indiana Several Nieces and Nephews Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Cloverport Cemetery in Cloverport, Kentucky. Rev. Lonnie Lawson will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 11:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. There will be military graveside rites conducted by American Legion Post #213. Memorial contributions may be made to White Stone Ministries.
