Shirley Kendall

Cannelton, Indiana Shirley A. Kendall, 86, passed away November 17, 2018 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. She was born in Cannelton, Indiana on November 10, 1932 to the late Hafele and and Agnes (Kleeman) Glenn. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Ralph Kendall in 2014; her daughter, Jodi Kleeman; and a brother, Glenward "Glennie" Glenn. A 1950 graduate of Cannelton High School, Shirley and her husband, Ralph owned and operated the K Market in Cannelton for over 25 years. She had also worked in the cafeteria at St. Michael School, was a former bookkeeper at Dauby's Department Store and was also a former Girl Scout Leader for several years. Shirley was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Ann Society. Surviving are her children, Kris Bland (Bruce), Cannelton and Matt Kendall (Misty), Leopold; son in law, Bret Kleeman, Troy; grandchildren, Jeff Hawkins (Martha), Kirsti and Lacey Hawkins, Olivia and Dex Kleeman, Kyle and Zachary Kendall; three great grandchildren, Trenton, Alyssa and Maddie; sister in law, Maxine "Toad" Glenn, Sevierville, TN; and brother in law, Ronnie Kendall, Cannelton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM CST Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Rev. Sengole Thomas G. will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday 8:30-9:30 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Cemetery
