Shelly Black

Shelly A. Black, 52, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was born on May 1, 1971, in Greenville, South Carolina. She had worked as a licensed practical nurse at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.

Shelly enjoyed being at home being with family. She loved her kids more than anything.

Surviving is her husband, Bob Black, Evanston; children Sallie Black (Dean Buechler), Evanston and Dalton Black, Evanston; sister, Tonya Nehring, Henderson, KY; her twin sister, Kelly Satterfield, Marengo; half-sister, Melody Hardee, Easley, SC; granddaughter, Skyla Black and step children, Bobby Black, Newburgh and Megan Black, Seymour.

Her parents, Jimmy Clark and Ysletia "Nan" (Richards) Hardee preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM CDTon Friday, July 7, 2023, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 5:00 PM on Friday.
