Sharon James

Cannelton, Indiana - Sharon G. James, 64, passed away on October 15, 2012, at Golden Living Center. She was born in Derby, Indiana, on August 24, 1948. Her parents were the late William Arnold James and Mabel G. (Curl) James. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Mary R. Button and two brothers, J. Thomas and W. Eugene James. A homemaker, Sharon enjoyed spending time with family and friends, writing poetry, playing zilch and bingo and working puzzles. Surviving are her daughters, M. Angeline Gaynor (Jason), Cannelton, Pamela D. Reed (Aaron), Cannelton and Janet M. Sandage (Joe), Garfield, Kentucky; a sister, Janice F. James, Tell City; brothers, Cletus C. James (Daisy), Donald L. James (Judy), Julius A. James, Jerry M. James (Polly), Cannelton, Charles E. James (Gloria), Troy, Larry D. James (Mary) and Delbert R. James (Ida), Tell City; grandchildren, Bridgette, Sierra, D.J. and Sadie Kellems, Lexi Keller, Olivia, Landon and Emmitt Sandage and also Brooklyn, Autumn, Ireland, Killian and Gaitlin Gaynor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at St. Michael Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Derby. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM on Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery, Derby.
