Sharlen Bauer

Jasper, Indiana Sharlen W. Bauer, 69, formerly of Tell City, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at Memorial Hospital. She was born August 17, 1942 in Perry County daughter of the late Charles White and Thelma (McLain) Pekinpaugh. She was a 1961 graduate of Cannelton High School. Sharlen married Ralph Bauer Jr. December 22, 1964, who survives. She retired as a manager of convenience stores for Cox Oil in Huntingburg. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Ralph Bauer, Jr., Jasper, daughter Ginger Collins, Jasper, and granddaughter Kayla Collins. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday. Rev. Andy Payton will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Dubois County Humane Society.
