Leopold, Indiana Dr. Seth P. Clark, 39, passed away May 6, 2018. He was born in Jasper, Indiana on January 5, 1979. Seth was a 1997 graduate of Perry Central High School. He received his Bachelors Degree in Geology from the University of Southern Indiana as well as a Masters Degree in Education from USI. He also earned a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Oakland City University. In 2003, Seth started teaching middle school and high school science at Springs Valley High School. He returned to PC in 2008 as Assistant Principal. Later he served as Principal and most recently worked as the school's Technology Director. He was well known for his quick wit, dependability and loyalty. Seth was a passionate learner who worked tirelessly to solve problems. He loved to be outdoors, camping, hunting, bow fishing and adored his dog, Buttercup. Seth was a quiet person who felt things deeply and passionately. Survivors include, his wife, Ashli (Blankenship) Clark, Birdseye; parents, Patrick and Sheila (Dwyer) Clark, Birdseye; sisters, Cora Showalter (Aron), LaFontaine and Anna Telligman (Brett), Freelandville; a brother, Levi Clark (Andrea), Birdseye. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Hilda (Gehlhausen) Hoffman, Jim Clark and Leo and Dorothy Dwyer (Elgin, Nebraska). A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM CST Saturday, May 12, 2018 at St. Isidore Catholic Church near Bristow. Rev. Adrian Burke, OSB will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 3:30-7:30 PM at Perry Central High School Gymnasium and Saturday 8:00-10:00 AM at the church. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, will be handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Seth P. Clark Scholarship Funds in c/o Perry County Community Foundation.
