Scotty James

Cannelton, Indiana - Wayne "Scotty" James, 56, passed away on September 24, 2021. He was born in Tell City on November 19, 1964. He enjoyed collecting things and listening to Bob Seger music while hanging out with friends. Scotty never met a stranger. Surviving is his daughter, Brittany Whaley; grandchildren, Brealyn, Ava and Jackson; sisters, Judy Hopper, Kim Thomas (Bob) and Stephanie Isom; nieces, Raven Hagan, Jordan Gallimore, Whitney Gabhart, Noelle Terry and Jamie Zweifel; nephews, Evan Jackson, Cassidy Allinger and Spencer and Hunter Sandage and Tony Sanchez. Preceding him in death were his father, Wayne James; mother, Donna (Bozarth) Bruce; sister, Gina (Isom) Sandage and brother, Mark Bozarth. Scotty's family will gather to celebrate his life on his birthday, Friday, November 19, 2021, at Hargis Hafele Riverside Park in Cannelton. Friends and family are welcome to stop by after 12:00 PM CST (noon) to visit and share good times they had with him. Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, is assisting the family with his arrangements.
