Sandra Howell

Tell City, Indiana Sandra Howell, 64, passed away December 25, 2018 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on January 2, 1954 to the late Winfred Leo and Hilda Hazel (Goffinet) Faulkenberg. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Mildred Faulkenberg and Linda Applegate and a brother, Norman Edward Faulkenberg. Sandy was retired in 2013 from Branchville Correctional Facility where she was a registered nurse. She had also worked at Perry County Memorial Hospital and at Lincoln Hills Development Corporation as a social worker. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Cannelton. Sandra enjoyed watching the Tell City High School Marching Band, the Indianapolis Colts, especially when Petyon Manning played and loved to spend time with her family and friends as often as she could. Surviving are her children, Tom Howell (Angie) and Jaimie Howell, all of Tell City; grandchildren, Darcy Howell, Emma Poehlein and Andrew Poehlein, all of Tell City; sister, Jean Pierrard, Tell City; brother, Larry Faulkenberg (Kim), Tell City and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Freewill Baptist Church, Cannelton. Brother Daniel Reeves will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00-7:00 PM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel and Saturday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Freewill Baptist Church.
