Sally Schaad

Derby, Indiana - Sally Jeanne Jones Schaad, 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at her home. She was born in Indianapolis on November 1, 1933. Her parents were the late Hubert S. and Bessie E. (Schaad) Raines. Also preceding her in death was a son, Stephen Linn and a granddaughter, Tiffany Linn. A 1950 graduate of George Washington High School in Indianapolis. Sally retired from Chase Bank. She was a former Indianapolis Democrat precinct committeewoman. She was a former Perry County News Derby correspondant. Sally enjoyed wildlife and gardening. Surviving are her daughters, Diana Sue Crowley, Evansville, Vera Ellen Kirlin, Derby, Judi Michele Martinez, Indianapolis and Jeanne lee Perkins, St. Petersburg, Florida and a son, Brian Keith Linn, Indianapolis; ten grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM (noon) on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Derby. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Rev. Barnabas Gillespie, OSB, will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made National Kidney Foundation or Perry County Animal Shelter.
