Ruth Terry, 82, passed away on January 11, 2020. She was born in Grandview on August 10, 1938, daughter of Ora and Evelyn (Thurman) Hall who preceded her in death. Ruth graduated from Troy High School and married Marshall "Doc" Terry on January 11, 1958, in Cannelton . He preceded her in death in February, 2020. She worked at General Electric for 38 years, retiring in 1993. She had been active in VFW #2939 Auxiliary where she was a current member and past president and had been a member of Harry G. Myers American Legion Post #142 Auxiliary. Ruth was a vice precinct committee person for Perry County Democrats and a life member of Southern Indiana Horseman's Club. She enjoyed playing euchre, dominos, travel, four wheeler riding with her grandchildren and working around her home and property with her husband and family. Surviving are her children, Roger Terry (Shannon), Tell City, Christie Froehlich (Bob), Tell City, Scott Terry (Patti), Grandview, Marsha Sabori (Tim), Carson City, Nevada, Birdie Ann Bedal (Bill), Tracy, California; sister, Erma Bryan, New Haven; grandchildren, Audrie Sturgeon (Wyatt), Addie Terry, Adam and April Terry, Andy Froehlich (Abby Reed) and Dalton Froehlich and a great grandson, Ivan Froehlich. Preceding her in death, besides her parents and husband, was a sister, Nila Hall; brothers, Elmer and Tommy Hall; half sister, Alberta Rice and half brothers, Cecil and Roy Gorman. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, Janaury 15, 2021, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Lilly Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Lilly Dale Cemetery.
