Tell City, Indiana Ruth A. LaGrange, 92, passed away May 14, 2020. She was born in Tell City, Indiana, December 30, 1927 daughter of the late William Jennings "Bryan" and Frances (McAdams) Taylor. Also preceding her in death were her husband Carroll F. LaGrange in 2008, sister, Evelyn Evrard, and brothers, Ralph, Bob, and Don Taylor. Ruth had worked at General Electric and together, Ruth and her husband, Carroll, owned and operated The Old Bank Tavern retiring in 2003 after 29 years. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Ruth was a very giving and selfless person that always put family first. She enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren, taking drives, gardening, being in nature and watching the sunset. Ruth is survived by her children; Ginger West (John), Georgetown, South Carolina, Rachel LaGrange (K.C. Nielsen), Bloomington, Kay Robertson, O'Fallon, Illinois, Sally Hill (Danny), Huntingburg, Dan "Popeye" LaGrange (Kathy), Tell City and Kent LaGrange (Cindy), Tell City; seven grandchildren, Gretchen Collins, Ruthie Sterrett (Greg), Brooke Potter (Evan), Lindsay Rubin (Brett), Amber Hill, Jake Willsey and Taylor LaGrange and six great grandchildren, Maya, Isabella, Rhythm, Noah, Kline and Dempsey. Due to the COVID-19 mandates, services will be private with burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel is handling her arrangements. Rev. Luke Waugh will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or Perry County Memorial Hospital.
