Ruth Hauser

Tell City, Indiana - Ruth M. Hauser, 83, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011. She was born in Perry County on February 14, 1928. Her parents were the late William J. and Mary (Beertzer) Huck. A homemaker, Ruth also was a waitress and a cook at The Freezer, Snappy Grill, Alpine and Knights of Columbus. She enjoyed cooking, baking pies and gardening. Surviving are her daughters, Janice Weaver, Mooresville and Janet Kitchen, Tell City; sons, Larry Hauser, Tell City, Ronnie Hauser, Washington, Patrick Hauser, Bloomington and Danny Hauser, Cannelton; sisters, Dorothy Simpson, Cannelton and Linda Hannah, Hamilton, Ohio; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery in Cannelton. Rev. Barnabas Gillespie, OSB, will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 10 AM until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Restoration Fund.
