Ruth Goffinet

Tell City, Indiana - Ruth S. Goffinet, 83, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, Indiana. She was born in Tell City, January 30, 1932, daughter of the late John L. and Ethel (Sauter) Sandage. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Dennis Goffinet in 2006 and a brother Robert Sandage. Ruth was a 1950 graduate of Tell City High School and retired from General Electric in 1992 after 42 years of service. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ, Perry County Hospital Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Denise D. "D.D." Goffinet, of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 4, 2015, Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Memorial Hospital.
