Ruth Faulkenberg

Branchville, Indiana Ruth E. Faulkenberg, 81, passed away at 7:20 PM Wednesday August 10, 2005 at the home of her son in Cave City, Kentucky. Ruth was born February 16, 1924 in Leopold, Indiana the daughter of the late William M. and Alma (Wichser) Ward. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Samuel William Faulkenberg in 1985, a sister, Louise Hope, a brother Julius Ward, and a great grandson, Dustin Faulkenberg. A homemaker, she had formerly worked at General Electric in Tell City and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Croix, Indiana. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and cooking. Survived by: One daughter: Helen Tucker, English, Indiana One son: Joe Faulkenberg, Cave City, Kentucky One sister: Billie Rissler, Tell City, Indiana Five grandchildren: Dean & Michael Faulkenberg, Teresa Collins, Stacey Smith, Angela Taylor Nine great grandchildren One great great grandson Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday August 13, 2005 at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel with burial in Walker Cemetery at Branchville, Indiana. Rev. Guy Mansini OSB will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Saturday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel where there will be a prayer service at 5:00 PM Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church or Walker Cemetery
