Ruth Brothers

Tell City, Indiana Ruth M. Brothers, 103, passed away May 7, 2013 at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born December 25, 1909 in Meade County, Kentucky daughter of the late David and Martha (Cash) Yoho. Also preceding her in death was her husband Charles Brothers in 1970, infant son, Jimmy, daughter, Carol Jensen, granddaughter Christa Jensen, and sister, Blanche Eads. A homemaker, Ruth was a charter member of Tell City Seventh Day Adventist Church since 1928 and former member of Perry County Extension Homemaker's Club, and Lincoln Trail Organ and Music Club. She is survived by daughter; Sharon Brown, Georgetown, Tennessee; son, David Brothers (Carol), Peru, Indiana; sisters, Helen Yoho, Tell City and Nettie Hall, Dale, Indiana; brother, Roy Yoho (Elsie), Woodbridge, Virginia; son-in-law, Fred Jensen, Morarity, New Mexico; 8 grandchildren, Mark Brown, Iris Pyke, Gregory Brothers, Lynn Mull, Chad Brothers, Karl Jensen ,Eric Jensen and Indra Feick and several great and great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or funeral service at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Graveside services were held June 8, 2013 at Lilly Dale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lilly Dale Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
