Tell City, Indiana Russell E. Bolin, 74, passed away at 10:09 AM Thursday May 17, 2007 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City. Russell was born November 27, 1932 in Perry County, Indiana son of the late Charles Nye and Pansy (Nelson) Bolin. Also preceding him in death was a son, Russell W. Bolin in 1991 and three brothers, Orville, Charles Russell, and Donald Ray Bolin. A United States Army veteran, he married Anna Marie Huff July 4, 1952 in Perry County. Russell retired in 1994 from Maxon Marine in Tell City after 20 years. He had formerly worked at Holland Dairy and later worked for Southern Indiana REC. For several years he and his family raised Christmas trees on their farm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR racing. He is survived by: His wife of 54 years, Anna Marie (Huff) Bolin, Tell City, Indiana His son, Randy Bolin and his wife Kena, Cannelton, Indiana His brother, Warren Bolin and his wife Margaret, Tell City, Indiana Four grandchildren: Jason, Billy, Joshua, and Dane Bolin Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday May 19, 2007 at Huber Funeral Home 1139 12th Street Tell City. Pastor Dennis Bolin Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Troy Cemetery in Troy, Indiana where American Legion Post # 213 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Saturday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association. Messages of condolence may be left for the family online at www.huberfuneralhome.net
