Ruby Maxey-Bolin

Tell City, Indiana Ruby Mae Maxey-Bolin, 80, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Transcendent Healthcare of Boonville. She was born on June 9, 1941, daughter of Cycle and Florence (Hockenberry) Duke. Ruby was a babysitter for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, having coffee with her friends and attending church at the House of Prayer. Surviving are her children, Debbie Puckett, Hawesville, KY, Darla Pate (David), Rockport, Donna Ball (Bobby) and Danny Sims, Jr., Tell City; brothers, Eddie Joe Duke (Pat) and Harvey Duke (Verna), Tell City; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Donald "Gene" Maxey and brothers, Howard, Denver, Eugene, Bobby, Ernie and Dallas Duke. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CST on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
