Ruby Crawford

Cannelton, Indiana Ruby F. Crawford, 86, passed away on April 6, 2021. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 14, 1934 to Ernest Gude and Erma Lee (Haley) Weatherholt. Ruby was a member of Clayton Harris Memorial United Methodist Church. Having a green thumb, Ruby loved to work in her yard planting beautiful flowers and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed her pets and feeding the birds. Surviving are her children; Danny Crawford, Tobinsport, Billy Crawford (Mindy), Pam May and John Crawford, all of Cannelton; a half-brother, Ernest "Bud" Gude, Atlanta Georgia; grandchildren, Rob Crawford, Ashton "Ack" Crawford, Danna Vogt (David Tate), Carly Crawford, Christa Young (Pat), Kristy Altman, Jessica Bryant (Chris) and Megan James (Mathew) and several great and great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her mother and step father, Erma Lee and Frank Weatherholt; father, Ernest Gude; husband, Clarence "Junior" Crawford; son, Carly Crawford and infants, David and Angela Crawford; great grandson, Dylan Altman; sisters, Julia Ahl and Christine Gude; brother, Edward "Buddy" Gude; half-sister, Shirley Hilgeland and half-brothers Randy and Keith Weatherholt. Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM CST on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Lamb Cemetery in Tobinsport. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Friday 10:00 AM- 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Tobinsport Cemetery Association.
