Rosie Harbaville

Rose E. “Rosie” Harbaville, 80, passed away on November 23, 2023.

She was born in Perry County on February 23, 1943, daughter of John Michael and Celine (Goffinet) Kelly.

Rosie retired as owner and operator of Bandon Tavern. She had also worked at Tell City Chair Company and Aristokraft. Rosie loved playing euchre, bingo, doing cross stich and cooking.

Surviving are her daughters, Pam Redmond (Bill), Angie Higdon (Ryan) and Vanessa Johnson (Jeff); grandchildren, Adam Redmond, Devin Martin, Hailey Higdon and Cole Johnson and her siblings, Lois Wentworth (Marty), Christine Marcilliat, Eva Mae Guillaume (Bill), Lawrence Kelly (Karen), Catherine Frakes, Donald Kelly (Mary), Becky Berg (Dave), Betty Goffinet (Danny) and Jimmie Kelly (Debbie).

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Norman Harbaville and brothers, Jerome, Irvin and Timmie Kelly.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM CST on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Father Brian Esarey will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 2:00-6:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:000-10:00 AM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice.
