Leopold, Indiana Rosemary A. Etienne, 96, passed away June 28, 2018 at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Perry County, Indiana on April 7, 1922 daughter of the late Albert and Josephine (Wheatley) Flamion. Also preceding her in death was her first husband, Lawrence Hubert and second husband Howard Etienne, brothers, Willard, Mark, Ray, Donald, Andrew and Gerald Flamion, sister, Veronica Flamion, step son, Donnie Etienne, and a step grandson Matthew Beckman. Rosemary was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and retired from General Electric in 1974 after twenty five years of service. She enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, and loved flowers, gardening and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters; Etta Jean Clark (Ron), Newburgh, Marilyn Beckman (Kenny), St. Croix; sons, Larry Hubert, English and Greg "Hubie" Hubert (Brenda), St. Croix; step daughters, Barbara Beckman (Randy), Lanesville, Sheila Giltner (Luther), Sullivan, Marlene James (Larry), Leopold, and Joanne Flamion (Tony), Leopold; step daughter-in-law, Rebecca Etienne, Leopold; sisters, Evelyn Harpenau, Branchville, Cornelia "Neal" Harpenau, Farmer City, IL, Jean Etienne, Tell City and Sue Hessig, St. Croix; eleven grandchildren, thirteen step grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, twenty-eight step great grandchildren, twenty great-great grandchildren and twelve great-great step grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Monday, July 2, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Brian Esarey will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday, where there will be a rosary said at 5:00 PM and from 8:00 until 9:15 AM Monday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
