Rose Stiles

Tell City, Indiana Rose A. Stiles, 96, passed away February 3, 2020 at Scenic Hills at the Monastery in Ferdinand, Indiana. She was born in Tobinsport, Indiana on July 29, 1923 to the late Frank and Iola (Cook) Gude. Also preceding her in death was her husband, J. Marvin Stiles in 1992; sisters, Clara Miller, Violet Smith, Julia Bacon and Laura Weedman and brothers, Irvin, Ernest, Joe and Orville Gude. Rose was a member of the Perry County Coon Club and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and playing euchre. Surviving are her children, Marv Stiles (Beth), Scotts Valley, CA, Robert "Bob" Stiles (Marie), Mt. Pleasant, TX, Joyce Watkins (Doug), Jasper, Frank Stiles (Vicki Hayden), Tell City and Barry Stiles (Paula), Derby; grandchildren, Sarah Stiles, Nicole Gill, Jenna Stiles, Gidget Schnell, Candi Mehringer, Brandon Watkins, Ryan Stiles, Tracy West, Amber Ely, Brad Stiles and Ben Stiles; 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM CST on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities.
