Robert Simpson

Tell City, Indiana Robert J. ‘Bob" Simpson, 55, passed away on March 28, 2023 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Tell City on November 7, 1967. Bob was a 1986 graduate of Tell City High School. He enjoyed scrolling Facebook, where he had many followers and spending time with his family, having cookouts and gatherings for the holidays. Bob was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Indiana University basketball. Surviving are his siblings, Greg Simpson (Roxanne), Marie McManaway (Jim), all of Tell City and Vicky Watkins (Bob), of Laconia and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father, Charles R. Simpson, Sr.; mother and stepfather, Cleta Faye (Sibrel) and David E. Lloyd and a brother, Charles R. "Chuck" Simpson, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 CDT on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Brother Bob Walton will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Thursday 9:00-11:00 at the funeral home.
