Robert Schwartz

Tell City, Indiana - Robert E. "Dump" Schwartz, 81, died Tuesday, December 23, 2003, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City, Indiana. He was born on January 26, 1922, in Cannelton. His parents were the late John Edward and Theckla Josephine (Hanabuth) Schwartz. Also preceding him in death was a brother, Charles Schwartz. He was a graduate of Cannelton High School. While in high school he played center on a 6-man football team. Robert retired from the Evansville Association of the Blind. He enjoyed St. Louis Cardinal baseball and Indiana University basketball. Schwartz, Cannelton, IN Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Evansville Association of the Blind. Rev. Gil Hubbard will officiate.
