Robert N. Anson

Robert N. Anson, 61, passed away on June 27th, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Mountain Home, Idaho on June 9th, 1963, to Paul Jr. and Thelma (Patton) Anson.

Robert held many positions but took pride in every job that he held. Notably, Robert worked at DMI furniture factory in Ferdinand, IN. From there he was a guard at Branchville Prison, and lastly loss prevention at Walmart where he moved to different locations to provide his services.

Robert enjoyed rooting on the Indianapolis Colts, grilling, spending time with his family and especially his granddaughters.

He cherished the time spent with his granddaughters and loved to attend their events and activities as often as he could. Robert was family oriented and fun loving. He loved family cookouts and always gave the advice to “go on the adventure!”

Surviving are his children, Brandie (Todd) Hermann, Tell City, Indiana, Kacey (Mustapha) Lowe, Louisville, Kentucky, and Cory (Deann) Anson, Tell City, Indiana; grandchildren, Kyla Lowe, Zoey Anson, and Piper Anson; his soul mate, Lisa Purkhiser, Tell City; sisters Tammie (Sam) Pope, Tell City, Juanita Brumbley, Maryland, and brothers, Ken (Donna) Anson, Utah, and Paul (Betty Jean) Anson, Georgia.

Preceding him in death were his parents Paul Jr. and Thelma Anson, as well as his brother Lonnie Anson and brother-in-law, Wayne Brumbley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with President Roy Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 1st from 3:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
