Robert Cook

Derby, Indiana Robert J. "Bob" Cook, 70, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at his home. He was born in Grayson, County, KY, April 9, 1944, son of the late Robert Lee Cook and Sarah Margarette (Dennison) Haycraft. Also preceding him in death was his wife Barbara (Sandage) Cook in 2010, granddaughter, Miranda Cook, great granddaughter, Ava Cook, brothers, Shirlel Bryant Cook, half-sister, Consulo Taylor ,Nola Harris, and Helen Mattingly , half-brothers, Robert, Bill, Pete, Truman and Irvin Cook, Jesse and James Mattingly . A U.S. Army veteran, Bob had worked at Schwab Safe for over 30 years. He enjoyed working puzzles, fishing and hunting. Bob is survived by his daughters; Bobby Jo Levan, Seymour and Kristi Brown, Gentryville; sons, Robert "Wayne" Cook, Derby and Mike Cook, Evansville; brother, Harold Cook, Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Marissa and Letisha Cook, Gabe and Amelia Brown; one great grandson, Andrew Wayne. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Lilly Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 until 7:00 PM Monday and from 9:00 until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to National Rifle Association.
