Robert Anson

Tell City, Indiana - Robert L. "Bob" Anson, 94, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023. He was born in Perry County, son of Burl and Phoebe (Sandage) Anson. Bob enjoyed the simplicity that life offered; loving his family, feeding the squirrels and watching for hummingbirds with his dog, Max, by his side. Surviving him are his daughters, Dinah Grigsby (Joel), of Dale, and Karen Howell (Greg), Kim Leistner and Amy Reed (Ray), all of Tell City; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. His parents, a daughter, in infancy, Cheryl, his wife, Mary Lou (Cash) Anson and a son-in-law, Terry Leistner preceded him in death along with several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Troy Cemetery. Pastor Ann Skiba will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Humane Society.
