Rita Haaff

Tell City, Indiana - Rita F. Haaff, 58, passed away on July 31, 2012, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. She was born in Spencer County on January 14, 1954. Her parents were Herman and Elsie (Weller) Jordan. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Patsy Duke and brothers, Jerry, Junior and Bobby Jordan. Rita married Mike Haaff on April 22, 1972. She had worked at Ivy Tech Community College as a custodian and was a member of House of Prayer. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are husband, Mike; daughter, Shannon Wiseman (Kevin), Branchville; sons, Aaron Haaff (Stacy), Tell City, Allen Haaff, Branchville and Adam Haaff, Tell City; sisters, Delsie Nix, Cannelton, Nina Schoolcraft, Chrisney and Betty Summers, Hope, Indiana; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 3, 2012, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Troy Cemetery. Pastor David Nix will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday.
