Ricky Vanwinkle

Tell City, Indiana Ricky A. "Racer" VanWinkle, 47, passed away January 1, 2013, at his home. He was born September 19, 1965, in Huntingburg, son of the late Donald E. "Gene" VanWinkle and Linda (Schlachter) VanWinkle who survives. Ricky was united in marriage to Wendy Reed October 9, 1987 in Hawesville. He had worked at Global Cutting, and had also worked at American Colloid and ATTC. He enjoyed repairing computers, NASCAR, and spending time at his river camp. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Wendy; sons, Steven and Jason VanWinkle, both of Tell City; mother, Linda VanWinkle, Dale; sister, Michelle Taylor, St. Croix; brother, Dave VanWinkle, Birdseye. There will be no visitation or services at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
